Robert Polander is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and Clinic Manager for Hanger Clinic in East Mesa, Arizona.
As a clinician with more than 30 years of experience in patient care, Robert specializes in lower extremity prosthetics, upper and lower limb orthotics, scoliosis, spinal bracing, and infant cranial remolding orthosis. He has been involved in managing Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, and other congenital conditions in both the infant and adult population.
Robert enjoys working with infants and children seeing the results of devices that are made to improve their quality of life. He treats every patient as if they are a part of his family. He spends time with new parents helping them to feel comfortable with their child’s plan of care. Robert is passionate about achieving positive results with cranial remolding and seeing the parent’s reaction when the results meet their expectation.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys spending time with his large family (his six children and 10 grandchildren), woodworking, outdoor activities, and attending church.
