Meet the Founder – Mike Bolland
Empowering Limb-Loss Care Through Enable Review
Hi! I'm Mike Bolland
I was born without a right hand.
I learned to use a prosthetic before I was two years old.
Through my own lived experience, the hundreds of conversations I’ve had on the We’re Not Stumped podcast, and my work with Ability360 and Arizona Disabled Sports, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what amputees and their families truly need from care providers.
I’ve heard the stories — the good, the frustrating, and the heartbreaking. I’ve seen how access to the right prosthetist, therapist, or clinic can change someone’s entire trajectory. And I’ve seen how lack of transparency leaves people feeling lost at one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
That’s why Enable Review exists.
Why Enable Review Exists
If you’ve ever searched for a prosthetist or clinic online, you already know the problem:
Most review platforms weren’t built for amputees.
They don’t capture:
What it’s like to actually wear a prosthesis
Whether a provider listens
How well they support real-world function
Or how consistent follow-up care really is
Enable Review was built to change that.
This platform is powered by people with limb loss and limb difference — sharing honest experiences so others can make informed decisions with confidence.
No marketing fluff.
No paid rankings.
Just real voices from the community.
Built From the Community — For the Community
I’m also the host of the We’re Not Stumped podcast, where I’ve spent years listening to stories from amputees, caregivers, clinicians, veterans, athletes, and everyday people navigating limb loss.
Those conversations revealed a consistent theme:
People don’t just want providers — they want providers they can trust.
Enable Review is the next step in that mission.
It’s designed to:
Elevate patient experience
Highlight compassionate care
Give visibility to great providers
Create accountability where care falls short
And empower amputees through shared knowledge
A Personal Note
I get it.
I know how vulnerable it feels to put your future in someone else’s hands.
Enable Review is deeply personal for me — and it’s being built slowly and intentionally, alongside people who live this reality every day.
If you’re here to leave a review, thank you.
If you’re searching for care, I hope this helps.
And if you’re a provider who truly puts patients first — welcome.
Together, we’re building something better.
